The National 3 Peaks Challenge: BEN NEVIS in Scotland-1345m, SCAFELL PIKE in England-978m, SNOWDON in Wales-1085m. While many attempt to do this in 24 hours, this three-day itinerary allows one to enjoy the scenery and great company. More than an endurance test, it’s about drinking in the splendour of the British countryside.

Day 1: Ben Nevis.
Your adventure begins bright and early, leaving Manchester and making our way northbound to Ben Nevis. After a short introduction and safety talk, we take to the ascent, which will normally take 4-5 hours. You’ll be surrounded by breathtaking views throughout the climb, along with the particular flora and fauna of the Scottish Highlands. From the summit take some time to take in the stunning views before descending and then on to our overnight accommodation, where you can rest and prepare for the next day.
Day 2: Scafell Pike.
After a hearty breakfast, we travel to the Lake District for our second peak, Scafell Pike. Scrambled with rock faces and often tricky pathways, this climb will put your skills and determination to the test. Our guide will plot the best route while ensuring that you will have an exciting climb without compromising safety. Returning from Scafell Pike, we go back to our accommodation for dinner and a well-deserved rest as you share stories of your adventure and lots of laughter with your fellow climbers.
Day 3: Snowdon.
On the final day, we will travel across into Wales for the ascent of Snowdon. The views from the top are simply spectacular and provide a very fitting conclusion to your amazing journey. Upon reaching the summit, you will have plenty of time to take photographs and enjoy the breath-taking scenery, with ample time provided before we begin our descent. After completing the challenge, we’ll celebrate your achievement and head back toward Manchester, full of memories and a great sense of achievement.
