Expert Guides: Our expert outdoor guides lead your trip. They master not only the navigation and survival tactics but also underwent training in team dynamics and engagement. They will give your team a comprehensive briefing with the essential tools they need to succeed on their quest.
Map Reading Skills: Your guide will introduce some basic map-reading skills at the start of your expedition in order for all the members to learn how to read the map effectively. This will be very important for the success of your team as they prepare for the route chosen, knowing the scale, orientation, and key symbols of what each means.
Route Planning: After the basics are explained, the teams shall break down into small groups to plot a route from point A to point B on the map provided. This activity guarantees teamwork and communication between the team members by deciding which path is more conducive in terms of distance, terrain, and time taken. In this process of planning, they will learn strategic thinking and the value of tapping into each other’s strengths and perspectives.
Course Plotted-Now Find Your Way Out: Once your group has charted the course, it’s time to start hiking! Guided by our certified instructors leading the way, the team will hike through a course to reach their endpoint, implementing their learned skills. Again, the physical and mental demands of this journey further reinforce the need for teamwork, communication, and flexibility in a constantly shifting paradigm.
