The Route
Leaving Manchester early in the morning, drive to Snowdonia National Park. After a brief induction into the day, a safety talk, and being kitted out with appropriate gear, you will begin your Crib Goch adventure. This usually takes 6-8 hours, depending on your walking pace and, of course, the weather. You’ll feel every step worthwhile as you hike across its glorious landscapes toward breathtaking views of surrounding mountains and valleys.
The climb onto Crib Goch is exhilarating yet rewarding. You’ll make your way onto the rocky summit and enjoy the thrills of some scrambling along the narrow ridge with steep drops on both sides. The views from the top are simply spectacular, affording a quite unique perspective of Snowdon itself and its neighboring peaks. Take a few minutes to drink in the breathtaking scenery and get some memorable photos before we make our way further on.
After overcoming Crib Goch, we will arrive at the summit of Snowdon, which is the highest mountain in Wales.
